A few weeks ago AICN.com posted a screencap of Scorponok and Tyrese Gybson from the movie. Today another capture that looks a lot nicer has made its way to the interweb.

The new screen capture looks like just another - more HI-RES - frame from the same sequence. Click the image for the comparison between the two.

Scorponok looks wicked and the guys look scared!

It comes out the 22nd - see it in the theater!

I think some of my films have had good teasers but this one is just makes a statement. It's hard edged to show we are not a silly "toy" movie. We show just hints of robots - and almost none of our epic shots are in this teaser, but the movie just looks big. I had a room full of 20 Tranformers adult geeks, and they all applauded at the end.

FHM is good at taking photos of half naked chicks, they are just 'ok' at making Optimus Prime costumes from cardboard and office supplies and making interns walk through crowded streets in it.

Aemek posted this picture with speculation that it's footage of a Transformer in action. Like him, i'm hoping for a bit smoother gait. Seriously, these machines can transform from a car to a walking robot war machine. I was hoping for some finesse. If this image is real, they might as well film it with this guy and save money.

This video came with the newly released 20th Anniversary DVD.  It has the teaser trailer that we've all seen and a bunch of extra footage as well as interviews with Michael Bay and Stephen Spielberg.  Keep an ear out for the Transformers sound at the very end.
